SXSWi:
2.21.11

Party like a rock star. Tweet like a geek. Live off of pizza. Socializing with the Twitteratti. Bumping shoulders with the who's who of the digital space. SXSWi is a dreamland for any geek - especially me!

Maneuvering through all of the SXSWi activities was a little overwhelming as a first timer, but. . . there was a app for that (there really is an app for everything)! The iPad 2 made its debut along with a bunch of new apps including Hashable, Yobongo, Beluga, Groupme and HeyTell. Feeding off the virtual vibes, making sure to "check-in" at every stop and sponging up all the latest and greatest within the checking-in, location based platforms, Foursquare, Gowalla and group messaging to name a few. Ah, and QR codes… they were found everywhere on everything from posters and business cards to the backs of t-shirts. The creative brand integration throughout the city of Austin from the nifty Foursquare court (an actual game run by Foursquare) to the local bar completely rebranding end to end by CNN with big glowing lights and a rotating sign was for sure worth tweeting about.

Aside from an expanded network, amazing inspiration, prizes, t-shirts and other "swag", I take away a more rhythmic caption of the ground-breaking trends, innovations and new perspectives on tomorrow's interactive climate.

Cheers to 2011!
1.10.11

Happy 2011 from everyone at Intemark! Already, it has been a very exciting and busy 2011 for all of us. Starting with the incredible Consumer Electronics Show that always sneaks up on us coming right out the gates after the holiday break, and this year was no different. Scrambling to reconfirm meetings, studying the convention center exhibitor map/show floor plan, modifying presentations, monitoring the press to see what products and services will saturate CES 2011 in addition to the much anticipated Tablet Computing and 3D TVs. Three Intemarkian's attended CES 2011 on behalf of several of our clients and as hard as a few of us CES veteran's tried to describe the awesomeness beforehand, we simply pushed our colleagues out the door w/ a few tips and waved goodbye. Holding down the fort, we tried to focus on our work while turning a deep shade of green, realizing we were left behind. Oh well, there's always SXSW in March. . .

Check back soon for a recap of CES 2011 from our perspective.
