Our world has changed, and we’re not headed back to where we were before.

The coronavirus forced us all to abandon our original plans for 2020, and more recent societal events have only exacerbated the need for flexibility and change. It’s time for all of us to work together to chart a new path forward.

With this newsletter, we want to illustrate for you what we do and how we create and add value for your business. We also want to spotlight our values, culture, methods and more, as they have helped us build long-lasting partner relationships and (we hope) made the communities we work and live in better. 

We also hope to start a dialogue. We deeply value our relationship with you, and want to be a true business partner to you. Like in any strong two-way relationship, we want you to tell us who you are and what unique challenges you face, in work and in life. We want to listen, and then we want to do our best to help however we can.

Minneapolis is our home

HELPING OUR HOMETOWN

We are proud to call Minneapolis our home, but there’s no question our city and region are experiencing real, raw pain. Our office and operations are intact, yet we know many others who have suffered under racial oppression over the long term and/or seen their lives and work harmed or destroyed within the last week. That said, we have seen countless examples of people helping people, businesses helping businesses, etc. Helpers are helping and good things are happening in our community, even if they don’t always garner the headlines. 

As Intemark, and as individuals who belong to our community, we are doing what we can to facilitate honest, inclusive conversations and help our neighbors rebound and rebuild. We invite you to do the same. 

The Lake Street Council

The Lake Street Council in Minneapolis is collecting donations to support small businesses and nonprofits that need to rebuild.

Communities United Against Police Brutality

Communities United Against Police Brutality is an established local organization working to “deal with policy brutality on an ongoing basis.” They could benefit from donation and in-kind support.

Campaign Zero

Campaign Zero Purpose: Identifying solutions, providing research & data to organizers and policymakers, advocating to end police violence nationwide.

The Support the Cities

The Support the Cities page on Facebook is assessing and sharing where clean-up efforts are most needed.

The Minnesota Rapid Response Coalition

The Minnesota Rapid Response Coalition is collecting donations and facilitating the clean-up of small businesses along the Lake Street, Midway and East Saint Paul business corridors, and then throughout the Twin Cities.

Rebuilding Together Twin Cities

Rebuilding Together Twin Cities is soliciting donations to provide critical home repairs for low-income homeowners who are older adults, individuals living with disabilities, families with children and active and retired members of the armed services.
